about

A little ditty I wrote in "bagpipe tuning" in this case C-C-cc. "Twinmills" is a word I made up, it makes me think of rural Ohio, I have no idea why that is. But because it does, Doug Berch's earthy penny whistle seemed a good fit.

The strings are not strings, but rather bowed dulcimer. And not the fine viol del gamba type instruments that Ken Bloom makes, just a plain old dulcimer played with a bow.

Jerry Rockwell dulcimer tuned C-C-cc
Bill Rich "Papaws" dulcimer tuned D-A-dd and bowed
